Women's Ministry

We live in a time where the very definition of a woman has been lost within the cultural departure from God's Word. We seek to reclaim the clarity and freedom of biblical womanhood. Women at GCF are encouraged to see their identity in the One who made them and redeemed them in Christ. They are encouraged to see the fullness of God's image expressed in both men and women, and to live their lives in a gospel-centered way. Women's events seek to minister to women in their various phases and spheres of life.

Where the truth of Christ

and the realities of life meet.

Our women's ministry exists to encourage and equip women to be a faithful witness to the gospel in their home, church, community and the world. From Mary to Lydia to Phoebe and many others, Jesus enlisted women as his close friends and serious disciples. We want to create environments where women from all life stages can relate to him in similar fashion, while also building meaningful fellowship within the church and with each other.

Our women's ministry aims to curate life-giving, restorative spaces for women to know Christ, study Scripture, grow in wisdom, and pursue Christ together in faith and friendship. If you're new to the area or new to the church, and no matter where you are along the spectrum of belief—very skeptical, quite perplexed, or definitely convinced—we hope you feel a sense of belonging at any of our events.

Our next weekly women's study will kick off on Wednesday, January 21 from 9-10:30am at Lindsay McKeen's home in Dover. The women will be going through the book of Hebrews, guided by Jen Wilkin's study Better. The gathering will rotate from a time of deeper study to a time of deeper community. Every other week will be a time for fellowship and prayer. For more info, please email [email protected].
