We're in the process of establishing a new church in the city of Portsmouth, NH, and yet we're not here to establish any new beliefs. We wholeheartedly and unapologetically embrace the ancient Christian faith as it is revealed in the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments and has been expressed in the historic creeds of the universal church (e.g., the Apostles' and Nicene creeds). We're also committed to the rich heritage of the Protestant Reformation with its emphasis on the authority of Scripture, God’s sovereignty, and the free grace offered to us in Jesus. A helpful summary of these views that we subscribe to can be found in The Westminster Confession of Faith.

Gospel City Fellowship is also connected to the church regionally as well as nationally. Nationally, we are a mission church of The Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). This relationship affords us a unique partnership in gospel mission, mutual accountability, and ongoing support. We live out our ties regionally as well through our membership in the Northern New England Presbytery which includes every PCA church throughout Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
